Face-to-face conversation is a back and forth so there’s not much time to analyze everything in your head before you say it. Imagine how difficult it would be to give rhetoric mid-conversation when you have to consider every fallacy we’ve learned so far. That would be a pretty awkward conversation. You being able to narrow it down to “Is my next point staying on topic” or “Am I laying out a slippery slope scenario?” is really beneficial to your argument. Do think it’s way more difficult to pinpoint the fallacies in a face to face conversation?
