Choose one of the following two assignments to complete this week. Do
not do both assignments. Identify your assignment choice in the title
of your submission.
Option #1: Work Related Process Map
Develop a process map for a process where you work. When possible,
involve coworkers to help you with job functions outside your knowledge
area. Make sure your process map has clear ownership for each task.
Include at least 5 swim lanes and at least 20 total tasks across all
lanes.
Submission:
- Prepare a process map using any tool you wish, i.e., MS Visio, MS Word, Excel, LucidChart, or free tools such as draw.io (Links to an external site.). Save your document as a pdf file for uploading to your assignment area.
- Ensure your process has at least 5 swim lanes and at least 20 total
tasks across all swim lanes. Your paper should include a process name,
date, version, contact information, and clearly defined start and
finish. All tasks should include action verbs for example, Task
2.2-Build contract spreadsheet using Excel Master File, or Task
19.1-Post shelf engineering details to Ship3DB. - Your tasks should clearly show who is taking what action and how.
Make sure all requirements to start a task are shown by delivery of
those specifics linked from earlier tasks.
Option #2: School Related Process Map
Develop a process map for the following processes:
- An adult student wishes to enroll at CSU-Global for the first time, and
- A graduating high school senior wishes to enroll at CSU-Global.
You are to construct 1 process map that includes both cases
(hint: use decision diamonds). Make sure your process map has clear
ownership for each task. Include at least 5 swim lanes and at least 20
total tasks across all lanes.
Submission:
- Prepare a process map using any tool you wish, i.e., MS Visio, MS Word, Excel, LucidChart, or free tools such as draw.io (Links to an external site.). Save your document as a pdf file for uploading to your assignment area.

2.2-Develop questions for financial aid advisor using Excel, or Task
19.1-Pay for high school transcript to be sent via US Mail. - This process requires decision blocks, usually shown as a diamond
shape to take different paths. Make sure the tasks required of the adult
student and the graduating high school senior are on separate paths
when necessary. For example, the high school senior may require letters
of recommendation while the adult student may not. The adult student may
need to activate military benefits and the high school senior may not.
It is up to you to discover and document those different paths. - Your tasks should clearly show who is taking what action and how.
Make sure all requirements to start a task are shown by delivery of
those specifics linked from earlier tasks.
