Problem 1
Solve problem 1 with Pivotable and create corresponding pivot charts. Express the counts as percentages of row totals. What do these percentages indicate about this particular data set? Then repeat, expressing the counts as percentages of column totals.
Place all Pivotable on the main problem worksheet, starting at I1 and placing the next PivotTable two lines below the first PivotTable. Place the Pivot Charts to the right of each PivotTable. Make sure to label each PivotTable and Pivot Chart. Please change row and column labels, and label all parts of the Pivot Charts. Remember, this is a “counts” problem. Sort the PivotTables A to Z.
Problem 2
Solve problem with pivotables and create corresponding pivot charts. However, find only means and standard deviation.
Place the PivotTable on the main problem worksheet starting at L1. Sort the Standard Deviation column A to Z. Place the chart beginning in P1. Label all components of the chart. “Spread” the chart out. Format the values as currency. “Spread” the chart out.
Problem 3
Create a pivot table and a corresponding pivot chart that simultaneously shows average of Salary 2008 and average Bonus of 2008, broken down by Company Type. Comment on any striking results in the chart.
Place the PivotTable on the main problem worksheet starting at H1. Note that both salary and bonus are to be shown in the same PivotTable. Change the row label. Sort the Bonus Z to A. Show data as currency. Place the Pivot Chart below the PivotTable. Label all components of the chart. “Spread” the chart out.
