Part 1. This part comprises a statement of a health related research problem. You may select any problem of interest; you will profit most if you select an area where you have a genuine question. If the question is relevant to a particular population, please make note of it in your paper. You are required to submit your written paper showing a) Topic; b) Introduction; c) Background of study; d) Statement of the research problem; e) Research question and sub questions/hypothesis; f) Methodology.The paper should be no more than two pages.

Using any data base you are familiar with, search the literature for relevant information to your problem. Locate and select three articles (peer reviewed articles) most related to your research problem. Summarize the analysis of the data in preparation for part 2 of the assignment.

For part 2, write a brief critical review paper regarding your research problem. The paper should critically review the three cited articles related to your research problem. The critical review should be a synthesis of the findings of the articles related to your research problem. On the last page of your paper, please include a reflection statement on the overall value of the assignment to your statistics course. The final paper, of no more than four pages, should have a conclusion and references developed from the three articles. The paper will be submitted along with a PowerPoint outline at the completion of your in class presentation on the last day of class.
