Saint Marys University of Minnesota Psychology Concert Discussion

In this class, I have tried to help you see the connections between the science of psychology and the world you live in. For this final discussion assignment, you will have a chance to make those connections yourself.

First, FIND a news article that relates to any concept we have discussed in class. If you do not know where to find a news article, I suggest using one of these websites: www.nytimes.com, www.npr.org, www.startribune.com.Importantly, I am asking you to find an article from a news source, and not an academic article like you would find in a library.1) Post a link to your article, and clearly describe what your article was about.

2) Detail HOW your article relates to class content. What part of the class is it related to? How is it related? Use citations here when discussing class material.

3) Tell us if you have any critiques of this article. Do you feel like it was leaving out any information? What else would you like to know?

4) Describe WHY you selected this particular article. Is this a topic you are interested in for a certain reason? Tell us! This will give you a chance to let your classmates know what from this class was of interest to you.
