For this assignment, write a paper in which you address the relationship between planning and quality assurance. Include the following in your paper:

Explain how quality assurance fits with modern concepts of accountability for colleges and universities.
Discuss how “tried and true” practices might impede continuous improvement and strategies for opening discussion that can lead to changes in the way the institution does business.
Finally, talk about how this process fits into the planning cycle of institutions and how it can be grounded in the specific values, goals, and programs of an individual institution.
If possible, reference your own experience with strategic planning, program and organizational evaluation, and accreditation.
